In June 2021, we were able to install a beautiful new machine at De Graaf Afvalbeheer B.V in Purmerend. We installed an Impress D130-110-A-5v-1.6 Ecoline. BOA was not competely new to De Graaf, as they already had a number of nice machines from BOA in their collection: a BOA 2040 and two Alligator shredders.
De Graaf is a company from the province “Noord-holland”, mainly specialized in recycling various waste types including paper and cardboard. In addition, they are also active in other streams of waste processing. 70 Years ago, the father of the current management started collecting paper from businesses in the North Holland region, and since then it has grown into the family business as it exists today.
The factor in choosing BOA again was the pleasant contact that De Graaf experiences with BOA. “From the beginning, we immediately felt that we were working with people. We try to do that ourselves at De Graaf, and we look for that in other parties as well. If there is a problem, we know that we can always reach Ahmet, Mark, or Sander and that we will be helped as soon as possible. Of course, it is not always possible, but everyone at BOA always does their utmost. I also know that if there is something, I can always call Ronald, Managing Director at BOA, if that situation arises,” says Rob.
In addition, De Graaf indicates that they also compared various machines and suppliers with each other on a technical level. The way the machine can be operated and especially the way the tying mechanism can be maintained were of great importance. Of course, the quality of the BOA machines was also important in making the choice.
The machine has now been in place for almost two years, and De Graaf is still very positive about the Impress D130 machine they purchased. “The machine works and performs very well. Of course, everything is new, modern, and completely up-to-date.” The bales fit perfectly together, are easy to stack, and have the desired weight.
Is there anything else to comment on regarding the machine or the way it operates? Not really, is said. The lines of communication are short, the conversations are always pleasant and down-to-earth, and BOA is always there for the people. The installation of the machine itself only took a small week. They even finished faster than initially anticipated. The checks are carried out on time by experienced technicians, and the feedback on this is always fast and clear.
